RIP

the Cowboys are finished. bury them. leave a cellphone in the coffin but bury them.
a few suggestions for this second, even worse half of the 2010 season-
feed Romo steroids. do it openly, let the league and media know about it. he'll get a four game suspension that won't matter because he was already going to miss 8-10 because of his injury. hopefully with the help of the steroids he'll be healthy after four weeks and will come back early from the injury/everyone will learn something about steroids (talking to you, stupid media)

also, while Romo is serving his four game suspension I believe the Cowboys need to hire Jeff Garcia. the man can play and would make us better than okay during Romo's four game steroid suspension.

Twenty Ten-Man Wolfpack Draft Results, Guynes Edition

QBs are so overrated in Fantasy Football! That's why I went with Tony Romo in the third round. Wait...

Things didn't go as planned so I don't know what the heck is going to happen this season, so you'll just have to judge for yourself, or just see how things play out.

QB - Tony Romo

RB 1 - DeAngelo Williams
RB 2 - Shonn Greene

WR 1 - Marques Colston
WR 2 - Dwayne Bowe
WR 3 - Terrell Owens

TE1 - Visanthe Shiancoe

K - Nate Kaeding

because I've already moved on...

seriously? no. I'm still so pissed I could spit that Rick "Butterfly Kisses" Carlisle screwed up the Mavericks' playoff hopes by leaving our most valuable weapon (Roddy B.) on the bench for most of the series....

but when I look at Zach Galifianakis and Tony Romo laughing together I can't help but feel that all is right in the world. at least for that moment.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DALLAS COWBOYS!!!

in honor of this glorious occasion I'm bringing you a photo list (alphabetical) of the men who have started at the quarterback position for the Dallas Cowboys over the past 50 years. there are a few men that are not represented here because their picture apparently does not exist on the internet (so they really don't deserve to be on the list anyway) here you will find Super Bowl winners and losers that never should have worn the star on their helmet... in making this list it reminded me of James Bond. when you think of James Bond only a few (or one) actors come to mind, I think the same can be said of the quarterback position for the Dallas Cowboys- Dandy Don, Roger The Dodger, Danny White, Troy Aikman and Tony Romo- America's Men

blog?

yes, we haven't blogged in a while. why? because Twitter is the bomb.com/theyremammals but seriously. what's been goin' on lately anyway? I'm not going to talk about Tiger nor that bastard sport he plays. I don't like NCAA football enough to share my thoughts on the undefeateds (or how I wish TCU would come out on top, is that even a possibility?) and I'm definitely not going to waste any breath on Jason Garrett's sucking, or Roy Williams' sucking, or how Miles "Dallas" Austin is a pretty good but not great receiver, um... I said I wasn't going to say anything about how Jason Garrett has the best group of RB's in the league and apparently has no idea how to use them.... A.I.? not gonna happen. fantasy football? eh, I'm doin' alright but could be better. pray for me. what about you? why haven't you been bloggin'?

Summer of Romo

Tony Romo got to play golf with El Tigre this week. Playing 18 with the best golfer ever and seeing him act like a regular guy is probably pretty awesome. Speaking of awesome, I think Jessica looks great.....

She's what $67.5 million can get you. Here's what Tiger's damn near billion dollar empire can get you...

Once again, Tiger wins.

Cowboys Problems

The problems with the Cowboys ultimately reside with two things: Leadership and Chemistry.
T.O. is a problem b/c there is not strong leadership within the team and his antics create problems in the locker room. I'm a Romo backer, but I don't think he is a leader in the mold of Elway, Montana, Farve. That said, there is no way the Cowboys can upgrade the position, they can't get rid of him, he's a top 10 QB in the league and he's a QB who can win a Super Bowl.
I think Tony's problems at the end of the season were due to injuries (I think his back was in bad shape, it's why we were in shotgun a lot the last few games) and I think he let T.O. suck the joy out of him. That is why T.O. needs to go. The Boys need to build a team, not assemble individual talent. I know the Cowboys on the 90's had some individuals (Prime Time) but they had very strong leadership, the Cowboys don't have that now.
With Barber, Felix, and Choice along with our huge O Line, the Cowboys can be a run first team on offense and hopefully play strong defense. By doing this, they can limit Tony's turnovers but still allow him to do his thing on 3rd down.
I would like coaching staff changes too, but that is not gonna happen.

latest story. my take- I think Ed Werder's rat source needs to be fed poison. I think Ed Werder needs to stop making news and start reporting it. I think the Cowboys lost this season because, as the Ravens pointed out, our schemes were simple. that falls on the coaching staff. but we already knew that because T.O. told us as much during the season (if only we'd listened, instead we had to hear it from Romo and the Ravens to believe it) and if we're talking about chemistry, wouldn't everyone agree that Romo seemed out of sink with everyone, including boy-toy Witten, all season? why have we not talked about that?
