The 2010 Wolfpack Fantasy Football League

this past Saturday things got real real. I met PJ for the first time and still prefer a man named Paul. Ryan was LIVE and in attendance. Ross drafted Joe Flacco.

I'm going to share my starters and hope the other guyz share theirs with you because I want you to make fun of them for being so stupid. I'm serious

QB Aaron Rodgers

RB Adrian Peterson (Vikings)
RB Steven Jackson

WR Michael Crabtree (I believe)
WR Chad Ochocinco
WR Percy Harvin (reach?)

TE Chris(ty) Cooley

K Stephen Gostkowski

DEF Dallas Cowboys

so there's no way you hate that team unless you don't like people named Steven/Stephen

Last Biannual THEY'RE MAMMALS!!! Bizarro Fantasy Football League

that's right, we drafted last night at Buffalo Wild Wings on Lemmon Avenue (next to Electric Ave.) you'll notice Paul Scheibe, Christopher "Cross" Cahill, Ross ON'eal and Jason Guynes all have terrible teams. that's because it's a bizarro league, dumbie

think of it like golf, which means golf is in fact a bizarro sport and should only be taken with a grain of salt and a side of mashed potatoes.

did anyone pick Adrian Peterson? hell no.

Adrian Peterson will a-Busey you

MILES DALLAS!

I'm saying this until it catches on, we all know Austin sucks, so let's just change Miles' last name for him. until he gives in and does it legally (at that point he'll probably suck and be traded or dropped by the Cowboys and either play CFL or worse- UFL) what I'm trying to say is that this pic is of what Miles did to me yesterday, he sat on my head. literally. I bench him, I threaten to kick him off my team and he goes out drops a couple easy TD passes and picks up a Cowboy record 250 yards receiving... really could've used those points. this FF week is a goner, Miles is my Son of a Bench, my Bench Baby, my everything.
also, as Clint pointed out, "did we just win the Super Bowl or beat a zero win team?" agreed but, come on, at this point we'll take what we can get (or have given to us in OT)

fantasy in review: week 4

isn't Greg sweet? yeah, well not on the football field... I drafted this boy early because I thought he would be a difference maker and I really believed Aaron Rodgers would have a breakout season as a result. so far, so wrong

I love me some T.C., I wish he had to be on my bench because he was also on the Cowboys bench but injuries have forced him into the lineup and so far, so good. keep givin' your ev'rything and your nothin'!

Thomas Jones is a starter. Julie Jones, his si...brother, is not. word?

Miles... what's the deal? aren't you a deep threat? isn't Tony a great QB? don't you want a job? PLAY LIKE IT! I'm gonna keep you on my bench for maybe a couple more weeks, no changes and I'll kick your butt out on the street in a heartbeat!

fantasy in review: week 1

we do play to win the game and with the help of these four guys I won all three of my games this past weekend! props to Cris Cahill for giving me my biggest scare, guess Philip Rivers isn't going to be the leading statistical QB this season!
Greg Jennings had a wonderful week, earned his draft and starting position. can't wait to see what he and Aaron Rodgers do this season!
T.C. got more playing time than I imagined but not enough to get his butt off my bench, keep givin' it your all and nothin'!

Miles Austin, my late round diamond in the rough, might start on one of my teams. DEEP THREAT!

Thomas Jones. what can I say? he's starting, he's gonna start on two of my teams and my third team wishes they had him! keep being better than your brother, Thomas!

I must really like these guys

I'm in three fantasy leagues and I have each of these guys on more than one team. Greg's obviously a starter on both teams
T.C. currently warms the end of two benches

Miles needs to get his head straight and figure out his hammy so he can get off two of my benches

Thomas (the greater of two Jones) is starting for one team, and ridin' the pine for another
YEA! FF!

I WIN

so I replaced Miles Austin with Devery Henderson and Felix Jones with Michael Pittman. obviously neither Austin nor Jones were first stringers, so I wasn't asking much from Henderson & Pittman. they didn't give much, but enough for a victory. thanks for your suggested roster moves, without 'em I woulda lost!

Drop Miles

Drop Miles and pick up some scrub for the week....and stop drafting Cowboys you homer.

Is anyone else bothered by ESPN showing Roy E. Williams? Just call him Roy Williams, people can figure it out. The cowboys are getting media coverage overkill. I was at a happy Hour on Wednesday and ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNews were all side by side. I saw Ed Werder talking on 2 of them at once, about different things. And the 3rd had PacMan on or something like that.

fantasy. polls.

I'm not going where you think I'm going so don't go there.

Paul is a gambling genius and I need his help, but I'm also going to ask for your help too. Paul can post his reply, you can respond by voting in a poll (yes, I am trying to hint-hint that an election is coming and you should vote. because it is patriotic. like not paying taxes BOSTON TEA PARTY)

anyway, I've got two bum starters in Miles Austin (down graded, by the recent aquesition of Roy E. Williams, to 4th string WR) and Felix Jones (moons over my-hammy)

the problem is that I have no one to come off the bench to replace these two, so what should I do? see if there are any takers and trade them? bench them and pick up some loser off of the waiver wire or....
you tell me
