Stop Cheating, Jalen Rose

I'm wise to ESPN's Jalen Rose. He initially picked the Spurs to win round 1 vs. your Dallas Mavericks, but has since changed his pick. I wish I had a screenshot from two weeks ago when the picks were in, but I don't, so you'll have to take my word on this one. What I do recall is that the picks were split down the middle and alternated both vertically and horizontally. So all of a sudden, Jalen's pick looks out of place.

So congratulations cheater, you're now officially my least favorite ESPN-er. And just so you know how serious I am, I'm including Jemele Hill in that discussion.

In summary, I hate cheating more than I love the Mavericks.

Stop Cheating, Jason! Props on trying to create a story but Jalen Rose always had the Mavs winning the series... they made their picks on a SportsCenter Special on April 17th and he clearly says the Mavs - in case you missed it, you can verify your facts at JALENTV.com or click here for the clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOjdeMncjOY&feature=channel_page

Jalen also had his picks posted on his personal website since early April... www.jalenrose.com

Feel free to verify your facts and post a retraction!

For what it's worth, I definitely considered the fact that some programmer for ESPN just got Jalen's picks wrong, but that story sucks, so I just chose to call him a cheater.

As I stated originally, I tried to find a cached version of the webpage, but to no avail.

The post was mostly just for intrigue, because while Jalen himself may not be a cheater, the pick DEFINITELY was for the Spurs initially. (This isn't hard evidence, but I do have a saved chat with Ross where we discussed how this series would be interesting because even ESPN talking heads can't decide who to pick - the choices were evenly split.)

Besides, you can't take me seriously when I say I like someone less than Jemele Hill. That's just crazy talk.
