Pac-16!

Wheels Up, Big XII South! We're going to the beach! (Err...sorry, Baylor.) I love this idea. The Super Conference thing is happening soon, so let's be proactive before all collegiate athletic hell breaks loose.

The Big XII doesn't include enough big markets to expand itself. There are basically only two options for Big XII South schools. Pac-10 or the SEC. Schools from Texas and Oklahoma would be the outside douchers of the SEC. We're not in The South. Look at Arkansas, they don't fit in. And the schedules would be brutal.

The Pac-10 isn't as established as other conferences so we could go in and be big dogs. Start some new rivalries. Open the doors to California recruiting. Daisy Dukes. Bikinis on top. Go Pac-16!

My Tech thoughts

They have the trifecta: most obnoxious fans, team and coach in the country. They beat A&M congratulations. I guess its all they have so good for them. They are 7-0, when’s the parade. I would just like to remind everyone they have never won anything in football…ever. They have 2 “shared” SWC championships 76 and 94. They are guaranteed to finish no higher than 3rd or 4th in the Big 12 South. They give no one any reason to believe otherwise. I welcome them putting me in my place and making me eat these words I have been screaming for almost 10 years. They have been putting up outrageous offensive numbers for years and what has it gotten them? Since 2000 when Leach got there they have finished higher than 3rd once, 2005 when they were 2nd. Call me when they win the south or beat texas and OU.

Now I must go cry because my beloved Aggies are the worst team in the Big 12 and prob worst D1 team outside the state of Washington. But hey those of us in attendance at Kyle Field every week are reminded that our girls basketball team is supposed to be “good.” F girls basketball. They should be diverting that wasted money to paying good football players

When I was checking the Mavs prop, I saw I had 22.55 left in one of my accounts. I’m gonna try to do this and see how I do, full disclosure on the blog for accountability (and for the IRS). If I win, maybe I’ll be back for NFL.

Mizzou @ TX -4
I'm too scared to take TX, UT has a huge target on their back being #1, I'm just hoping they can win. Hook 'em!!

Texas Tech @ A&M +21
I was thinking about this game, my first thought being a Tech blowout, but the more I think about it, it may be a trap, I expect A&M will have little pride and will be tired of getting beat in this series. Plus, I think A&M may be improving.

I'm not sure Tech and Okla. St. will handle being undefeated and in the top 10 very well, I think both of them will have a letdown, I don't think either of them will lose though.


Finally, congrats to TCU, they hammered BYU yesterday, great performance.
