What? Nah, just kidding. I did want to point out that Philly's logo (they start in 2011) is BAD ASS. The colors and the snake are freaking awesome. I knew the snake had to be founding fathers related. Luckily the sweet people at Delaware Online hooked me up...
That is likely to thrill members of the Sons of Ben fan club, named after Philadelphia icon Ben Franklin, who was fascinated by rattlesnakes and in 1775 wrote "The Rattlesnake as a Symbol of America" in the Pennsylvania Journal, according to the Franklin Institute. The team colors are also similar to those already exhibited on Sons of Ben gear.
Sucks that Philly's logo is much cooler than FCD's Houston Texansie logo...
